Join us for a welcoming, one-hour yoga class led by the 2026 graduates of our In-Depth Teacher Training program. This all-levels practice is designed to be accessible, supportive, and open to everyone, whether you’re brand new to yoga or a longtime practitioner. Come move, breathe, and connect with community. All are welcome. No experience necessary.
Demystify fascia with Catha! Learn what it is; its relationship to our nervous system; factors that impact how the fascia ages; and how yoga and other techniques can slow down the fascial aging process, improve mobility and increase overall well-being. After a brief discussion, move through a fun and enlivening practice that embodies all of this information.
It's been ten years since Prince left this earthly realm, but his legacy of free expression and purposeful art lives on. Join us for a yoga class (and a quasi-dance party!) in celebration of health, life and Prince. Bring your dancing feet and an open heart to this ecstatic and blissful experience of blending yoga posture and dance for 75 minutes of Purple Mountain Majesty, followed by "The B Side" as Reggie bathes us in Pure Sound to Ground, featuring gongs, crystal bowls, and antique bowls as we rest in spacious and purified community. Come dressed to express your creativity, ready to flow intuitively and open to celebrating life in glorious fellowship.

Learn practical yoga therapy techniques to strengthen, stabilize, and care for the knees for safer and more comfortable movement in yoga and in life.
an empowering workshop to explore the practice of arm balances as he guides you through a series of poses, drills, and techniques to help build strength, confidence, and control. You'll explore the benefits and precautions of balancing on your arms, and by the end of the afternoon, you'll have practiced, refined, and applied what you've learned in a supportive environment. This workshop is intended for anyone looking to challenge themselves and expand their practice, and for teachers seeking to deepen their knowledge and skills.
Grab a buddy – couples, friends, family pairs all welcome – and join Annie and Amir to learn to give and receive an easy sequence of Thai Yoga Massage. In this unique system, the "giver" guides the "receiver" through a series of relaxed yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines and pressure points. The experience can relieve muscular tension, improve circulation, boost the immune system, and balance the body energetically. For bonus community time, join us at a local Fairfax City restaurant for dinner afterwards!
Join us for an afternoon of serenity, creativity and community. Begin with Catha Pavloff leading a 45-minute heart opening yoga practice intended to relax, rejuvenate, and spark creativity. Yoga practice will be followed by a serenity wreath-making experience led by guest artist Patty Moloney Figliola. During this workshop, you'll create one 6-inch and one 4-inch personalized "serenity" wreath with elements such as lavender for relaxation and stress relief; rose for calm and comfort; amethyst to soothe the mind and bring spiritual protection; and rose quartz to promote self-acceptance and emotional healing. Essential oils will be available to add optional fragrance. These wreaths make lovely personalized heartwarming holiday gifts for yourself or for others.

A workshop to examine the vibrational energy centers in the body might, and consider how they may be influencing your feelings and behaviors. Enjoy a simple grounding practice followed by an accessible, full-body yoga experience that touches on each of the chakras, helping you notice where energy feels open and where it might need a little extra care.
Embark on a journey of light movement, breathing, meditation, all immersed in the serene sounds of singing bowls, healing drums, bells, chimes, rain stick, and human voice. Together we'll explore the beautiful dance between movement and stillness, the magic of this week's full moon, and the harmony between silence and sound, both within yourself and in the world around you.
The stress of our current times can eat away at – or outright undermine – our access to joy. Some of us may even feel guilty for having joy in hard times. This workshop is meant to amplify being joyful, just because, for no other reason than we can and we should. Hard times are not the end of the story, and when we hold onto joy in hard times it creates conditions for the transformation of what is weighing us down. October selection: Inheritance: A Memoir of Genealogy, Paternity, and Love by Dani Shapiro
Working from the principle that a yoga inversion is any pose when your head is below your heart, Ahmed will lead you through a comprehensive exploration of how to safely and confidently practice any level of inversion without struggle. In this workshop, you will learn drills to build strength, control, and confidence in skills such as assisted headstands, forearm stands and handstands. The intention is for everyone to leave the workshop feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take their inversion practice to the next level!
Amir will teach you how to create a customized routine to address your specific low back dysfunctions and related pains. He'll review the anatomy of the lower back and sacroiliac joint, as well as common misalignments, muscles spasms, compression, and disc issues. Using yoga therapeutics, as well as techniques from Egoscue, Somatics, and Thai Yoga Massage, Amir will offer tools to self-evaluate and find ease from both chronic and acute conditions.
Regularly re-setting and re-calibrating the nervous system is essential to our physical and mental health and overall wellbeing. This session will feature chimes, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and other instruments all offered in service to dialing down distress and amplifying ambience, ease and tranquility.

September Selection: Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy
As we transition from summer into the energy of autumn, we are being called to turn inward and release things that are weighing us down. Taking cues from the season, we will experience deep rest and meditation together, re-setting our nervous system and allowing extra stress and worry to fall away. This session will feature chimes, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and other instruments.
Restorative yoga is a practice that is focused on slowing down and opening your body through passive, supported stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, muscles and connective tissues are allowed to relax and elongate deeply as props, rather than muscles, are doing the work. This workshop will be recorded and available for one month following the event.
A free hour to learn, modify, or refine your sun salutation practice! Go through several adaptations, modifications, and lineages, and learn tips and tools for incorporating this timeless flow of postures into your day-to-day life.

Discover the basics of safe and supportive hands-on adjustments in this welcoming, two-part workshop designed for yoga teachers who are new or returning to the art of assisting others. In this beginner-level course, you'll explore the fundamentals of touch, alignment, and body awareness in a supportive and collaborative environment from a healing-centered approach. No prior experience with adjustments is necessary – just a curiosity to learn and grow. Part 1 on Saturday focuses on the foundations of touch. Part 2 on Sunday leans into a deeper exploration of touch, breath, and connection. Register for each day alone or both together.

Hailed by Harvard Medical School as “Medication in Motion,” Tai Chi and Qigong are valued as supporting many positive health outcomes, including balance and coordination. Join Orit for a four-week series this summer to focus on these areas, and set yourself up to move through life with flexibility, ease, and confidence. Begin each session with a gentle warm-up, followed by a walking practice and simple exercises to promote a focused mind and a restful being. Open to any level. Beginners are welcome and encouraged!
