April selection: The Prophet by Khalil Gibran
Set a peaceful tone of gratitude for the season as you join Reggie for gentle movement, breathing practice, and guided sound meditation designed to prepare your body and mind for truly sound sleep. Through movement, meditation, and the calming tones of sound bowls, this practice can help you release tension, quiet mental chatter, and shift into a state of deep rest.
Embark on a journey of light movement, breathing, meditation, all immersed in the serene sounds of singing bowls, healing drums, bells, chimes, rain stick, and human voice. Together we'll explore the beautiful dance between movement and stillness, the magic of this week's full moon, and the harmony between silence and sound, both within yourself and in the world around you.
The stress of our current times can eat away at – or outright undermine – our access to joy. Some of us may even feel guilty for having joy in hard times. This workshop is meant to amplify being joyful, just because, for no other reason than we can and we should. Hard times are not the end of the story, and when we hold onto joy in hard times it creates conditions for the transformation of what is weighing us down. Reggie will offer an asana practice with soulful music, emphasize personal expression, and conclude with sound meditation.
