I love the flexibility of the word wave. It can mean goodbye (see you, 2025), or hello (come on in, 2026). It can also point to the natural flow of life itself, whether as unseen energy and matter, or as the vast, rhythmic ebb and flow of the ocean. However we use the word, what it always holds in common is temporality: something is arising, and something is departing.
