Our bodies accumulate stress in the form of tight muscles and constricted connective tissue between skin and muscle. One method to release this tension is with a foam roller, which provides a form of massage, stretches muscles, and improves circulation through self-myofascial release.
Join Gretchen in this workshop to learn the proper use of a foam roller, in a practice that provides challenge and relaxation in a safe environment. We will incorporate the moves into a slow, all-levels hatha yoga class and end with restorative poses, to reinvigorate the body.
