Embodied Gratitude

What does gratitude feel like in your body? Perhaps a softened jaw or smiling eyes. Maybe soft shoulders, wide back, and easy belly. At day's end, a grateful heart may find a welcome nest as it settles in to sleep, handing over the day's disappointments to gravity, and arising the next morning with refreshed tools to stand tall and meet the day's challenges.

We know what gratitude feels like in the "body" of Sun & Moon. It feels like a reassuring dawn after the darkest night of uncertainty. It feels like hundreds of you, our beloved students, letting us know you are standing beside us – in your Zoom rooms, in your commitment to returning in-person when it feels safe, in your loyal viewership and patronage of our nascent YouTube channel. It feels like the promise of a fresh, warm breeze in spite of so much uncharted chilly territory. It feels like knowing that we still stand in humble service, with hands joined, ready to guide your next breaths.

Thank you with all our hearts. Wishing you a safe, simple, and grateful Thanksgiving holiday.
