This workshop is focused on giving ourselves permission to rest and restore, supporting the potential for deeper levels of peace and health. We begin with a 60-minute yin yoga practice, followed by a 45-minute ”Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra" guided meditation accompanied by live harp. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that requires nothing other than sitting or reclining in a supported position, and following the guides of the leaders. The last 15 minutes will be filled simply with the beautiful sounds of the live harp. Intended for anyone with a desire for inner peace. This practice has been used to aid insomnia, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and chronic pain. No yoga experience is required.

And Kara Welch. Kara has been playing harp since 2006. She performs professionally at cafes, graduations, galas, and more everywhere from Arizona to Jamaica specializing in classical, jazz, celtic, and healing music. Kara is currently studying with the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP) at George Washington University Hospital to become a therapeutic musician in her new home base of Washington, DC.
