Rixie will lead you through the 12 Steps of Recovery using body-mind-heart tools of exploration, including the chakras, meditations, journaling, and mindfulness exercises, all in a safe, quiet environment with like-minded folks like you. She has created an afternoon to explore parts of the self, for anyone in recovery and/or addicted to food, gambling, technology, work, or anything else that pulls you away from peaceful rest.
Rixie's 25 years of sobriety and 18 years of teaching yoga inform her compelling wisdom and teaching. "When I first attended a yoga class," she says, "I was not aware that I had become numb to many aspects of myself. Attending meetings was addressing the self examination that I needed, AND the yoga classes were also teaching me about the physical body, energy body, emotional body. We are holistic by nature. By combining my recovery with yoga, I healed from the inside out. A-mazing."
