All the yoga in the world will not stop us from getting older, but it can help us approach the journey with more grace, agility and assuredness. More people are living longer and therefore can benefit from yoga keeping their life span more healthy. Rixie has studied with Baxter Bell and is passionate about teaching her “Yoga for Healthy Aging” class at the Sun & Moon Yoga Studio in Fairfax for over a year.
This is a workshop based on essential practices correlated to increased healthy life span. The practices include static, dynamic, and restorative poses focused on flexibility, agility, balance and strength. This workshop is appropriate for anyone who's looking to take their yoga with them through many years ahead.
