The Sound of Inner Silence

December 7, 2022 Amir Tahami

Experience the deep relaxation that is already inside waiting for you with a sound bath and guided meditation this Friday evening, as you ground your energy before the holiday season kicks into high gear.

The ease you'll feel is real! In fact, the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine published an observational study on the effects of singing bowls on mood, anxiety, tension, pain and well-being, finding that participants reported significantly less tension, anger, fatigue, and depressed mood, and a marked increase in spiritual well-being.

According to Eastern ideas, humans were created out of sound. We are, literally, made of vibration. If we get "in tune" with ourselves and our environment, then we can arrange our lives freely and creatively amidst all the inherent challenges. This sound journey will include a variety of sounds and frequencies from Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, rainmakers, gongs, Native American flute and guided meditation.

So get comfortable in your own home: snuggle in with your favorite blanket, pet, or soft pillow, and take an hour to tune in and be soothed by sound as you join Cynthia Maltenfort this Friday evening on Zoom for a luscious winter evening Sound Bath. A recording will be available for one month following, so you can re-experience it anytime you like, for the rest of the year!
