The new year is a good time to pause, reflect and find renewed enthusiasm. In this two-hour class we will explore gentle yoga flow and then finish with sound bath and yoga nidra mediation combination. Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® is a meditative practice that requires nothing of you but to lie down and listen to the teachers voice (Paige Lichens). Be supported, held, and nourished as you discover profound peace and rest. Additionally Paige has both crystal and metal sound bowls and will combine the practice with the vibrations and tones that the bowls offer to balance the chakras and doshas. Be prepared to laugh, have fun and experience all the possibilities of your body, mind and spirit. You’ll start with a short session of discussion, centering and pranayama practice. Warm up, movement and positions standing, kneeling and on the floor. Modification and alternative poses will be offered and suggested. The remaining 45 minutes you will rest in stillness, lying down or seated, while being guided by the meditation practice for deep rest.
