We’re all aware that yoga is a mind-body melding practice, but it may be news to some that yoga and meditation practices have been proven to make changes to the brain. Based on the research from the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, Carol will share practices that have been shown to enhance brain function. Topics include the Four Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention, spanning lifestyle and techniques to stimulate right and left brain activity; and a 12-minute meditation practice known as Kirtan Kirya, shown to improve blood flow and improve memory. Carol is a certified Brain Longevity Specialist Certification.
