The breath comes in, the breath goes out

Whether your yoga practice takes the form of physical postures, ethical practices for yourself or others, navigating the sensory world, or mindfulness and meditation, your breath is the centerpiece. Our natural rhythms mirror those of the universe: expansion and contraction, divisions and multiplications, inhales and exhales. The demarcation of one day compared to another, or one year compared to the next, simply allows us to pause and take note. Each breath offers an invitation to consider what we can release as past, what we can observe as present, and what our aspirations hold for the future.
