Massage Therapy with Jen Ebbert

As an experienced yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist, I enjoy empowering clients to find balance and healing in their bodies through bodywork and movement techniques. With a foundation in Swedish massage, I have additional training in deep tissue, trigger point, spinal reflex therapy, craniosacral and oncology massage. As a lifelong student, anatomy nerd and puzzle solver, I continue study in other disciplines, integrating their wisdom.

My journey with yoga and massage began over 20 years ago as I searched for ways to manage debilitating chronic pain and advocate for my own health. I began massage practice in a local martial arts/yoga studio with a range of clients from athletes to those recovering from surgery, trauma, chronic stress and illness.  My goal is for all to remain active, able and at peace in our bodies as we age.

Massage Therapy with Tabitha Croy

Tabitha is passionate about sharing her knowledge of healing energies with others who have had difficulty finding relief from chronic pain, stress, and trauma. When conventional medicinal approaches failed to address her own health concerns, she turned to alternative therapies and discovered the profound healing powers of yoga, Reiki, essential oils and therapeutic massage. Her intensive study of the body and its energy properties have had a deep and lasting impact in all areas of her life, far above and beyond her initial pursuit of pain management. She has dedicated years to mastering the same skills that brought her comfort, so she could help others find relief. She is a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College’s Massage Therapy Program, with an emphasis on orthopedic massage and chronic pain relief, and is also a 500HR-RYT certified yoga teacher with a focus in healing trauma and a Reiki Master/Teacher. These areas naturally led to specializiation in Spinal Reflex Therapy (SRT) and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). She combines the more physical, scientific approaches with energy healing techniques and craniosacral therapy to bridge the gaps between healing mind, body, and spirit.

Massage Therapy with Carol Alvarez

Practicing in Arlington since 1994 with a Physical Therapy Degree from my native Bolivia, my approach to healing is a blend of traditional Swedish massage coupled with orthopedic, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy and deep tissue massage techniques for relaxation, pain management and muscle retraining.

I find special interest in the care of pregnant women, promoting infant massage and supporting recovery after birth. Currently, I am expanding my practice to care for people with cancer.  As a breast cancer survivor, I experienced first-hand the benefits of lymphatic massage, taping and other massage techniques to treat radiation-induced fibrosis and consequent loss of elasticity, shortening, and contracture of tendons, ligaments and muscles.
