We are pleased to offer special programs and events in addition to our regular weekly classes. Workshops offer the opportunity to explore and experience specialized yoga subjects on a deeper level than the shorter class format allows. Topics include a wide range of yoga therapy, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, children's programs, and dance. Workshops are presented in a relaxed community atmosphere and are led by our most experienced studio teaching staff as well as visiting master teachers from around the country.
We typically begin taking workshop registrations six weeks prior to the event (sometimes more). Our site is fully secure, but if you wish to avoid online registration, we are happy to register you by phone or in person. Visit our workshop page and click on the REGISTER button for the program or event. This takes you to our fully secure YogaReg website to reserve your spot and pay for your workshop.
If you need to cancel your registration, you may do so up until the day before the event for either a studio credit (no fee) or a refund (minus an administrative fee of 10% the cost of the workshop). Because your spot has been reserved in workshops and teacher pay has been guaranteed, no refunds or credits can be given the day of or after the workshop. Please complete this form to request studio credit or a refund.
Sharing the Space
Certain workshops (mainly visiting teacher workshops and Amir’s yoga therapy workshops) are very popular and highly enrolled. We do our best to accommodate as many students as possible who want to participate, but we also must limit the numbers of attendees to prevent over-crowding. We do cap the attendance well within what the rooms are capable and authorized to hold, but even so, some people find it uncomfortable to practice in close quarters. If you are not accustomed to practicing and learning while sharing the room with large numbers of people, feel free to contact us and we can let you know if a workshop is nearing capacity.
