Nancy Carter developed a big crush on yoga in 1998 when she took her first class at Sun & Moon. Dabbling in many different levels (ok, just Level 1 and 2/3, but still) and sampling several of the amazing Sun & Moon teachers cemented what would become a full-fledged love affair. In addition to taking classes, she began incorporating yoga into her everyday life. She could even be overheard walking her small children into school and whispering an “uddiyana bandha” reminder to them as she kissed them goodbye.
She continued to weave yoga into her life throughout the years through her art, photography and parenting. She even grew a half an inch taller. Her teaching style is playful and informal while also providing structure and modifications. She creates soothing eclectic playlists to complement her classes. Nancy completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2015 and is thrilled to fulfill her dream by joining her inimitable peeps at Sun & Moon.
